WSP Seeks Assistance Identifying Victim of Collision

March 24, 2020

Seattle – Washington State Patrol and the King County Medical Examiner’s Office is requesting assistance from the public with identifying a man involved in a collision on Monday March 9, 2020, at 7:30 am on SR900 (MLK WAY) at 64th Ave S in the Skyway area of Seattle.  The man died of his injuries on Sunday March 22, 2020 at Harborview Medical Center.

Out of respect and courtesy, the Washington State Patrol diligently works to notify next of kin in person in any fatal situation before releasing the information to the public.  Unfortunately, in this case, our efforts to identify the victim have been unsuccessful, and we are seeking the assistance of the public.  Anyone with possible information on the identity, or next of kin to the victim, is encouraged to call the Washington State Patrol.

The man did not have a cell phone, wallet or any other identifying belongings on his person and has no tattoos. The man was wearing a distinct sweatshirt that says “Colorado” on the chest. He was wearing the sweatshirt under a black mechanics style jacket along with brown Dickies style pants.

He had two bus transfer tickets in his pockets and may have ridden the 101 or 102 line from Seattle to the area of the collision but it is unknown when.

If you have any information to assist in his identification please contact Detective Sergeant Moate at 425-401-7745 or Stacy.Moate@wsp.wa.gov.
