Snohomish County — On July 14, 2021 at approximately 3:30am, a shooting occurred on north Interstate 5 near 44th Ave in Lynnwood.
The victim advises they were traveling north on Interstate 5 near 44th Ave in a white Chrysler 300 when they observed a white Honda Accord following them very closely. The Honda changed lanes and started passing them on the right. While in the act of passing the victim vehicle, gunfire came from the driver’s side of the Honda and struck the victim vehicle 5 times. The victim was uninjured.
North Interstate 5 was completely shut down for approximately 15 minutes to scan for evidence.
The victim advised the suspect vehicle was a white 2012 or newer Honda Accord. WSP detectives are looking for witnesses to the incident.
