WSP Detectives Need Help With Two Drive By Shootings

King County: Washington State Patrol (WSP) detectives are investigating two separate drive by shootings which occurred over last weekend.

On January 21, 2022 a semi was traveling WB I-90 near MP 32 when a white passenger vehicle fired a weapon striking the semi hitting the door and also causing interior damage. Thankfully the semi driver did not sustain any injuries.  The victim indicated that he observed a passenger pulling a shotgun back into the vehicle after he heard the gunfire.

On January 23, 2022 just after midnight Washington State Patrol (WSP) communications received a 9-1-1 call advising that a vehicle was struck by gunfire SB SR 509 near 128th in Burien.  The victim indicated they approached a slow moving dark colored sedan and heard several shots and it was determined that their vehicle was struck.  Thankfully no injuries occurred.
