Serious Collision On Highlands Drive In Issaquah Sends Four To Hospital

November 1, 2022 –

King County: At approximately 11:18 pm two vehicles were traveling southbound on Highlands Drive NE
approaching NE Discovery Drive at a high rate of speed. The first vehicle was a 2008 Infinity G35 and the
second vehicle was a Mercedes.

A third vehicle was just beginning to make a left turn on a green arrow to NE Discovery Drive when the Infinity
ran the red light. The Infinity struck the third vehicle causing the Infinity to go out of control and hit a light pole.

One male and one female passenger in the Infinity were not wearing a seatbelt and were ejected from the
vehicle sustaining very serious injuries. The driver and front passenger were also transported to the hospital.
The driver of the third vehicle was not injured.

Issaquah Police Department asked the Washington State Patrol (WSP) to handle the investigation which is still
ongoing.

Washington State Patrol detectives are asking anyone that may have witnessed this collision or observed
either one of these vehicles prior to the collision to contact Detective Ford at Brody.Ford@wsp.wa.gov.
