King County: This morning between 1am and 8am a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on SR 164 near west of 228th in Enumclaw.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle that struck the pedestrian left the scene. The Acura will have damage to the front driver’s headlight area, missing part of the front driver’s bumper, missing driver’s side mirror, and missing driver’s side silver door handle.

Washington State Patrol detectives are seeking any witnesses or anyone with information on this tragic incident. Please email Detective Ford at Brody.Ford@wsp.wa.gov.

UPDATE: The vehicle has been located and processed by Washington State Patrol (WSP) detectives. Enumclaw Police Department contacted the WSP and advised that they believed they impounded the vehicle due to a collision in their city early in the morning on April 1st. This vehicle struck two other vehicles at the scene of a previous collision and the driver was subsequently arrested for investigation of suspected impairment. WSP detectives confirmed that this was the vehicle involved in the pedestrian fatality and are actively investigating the driver for the pedestrian fatality.
