WSP seeking witnesses to serious injury hit-and-run collision

LYNNWOOD, Wash – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is actively investigating a serious injury hit-and-run collision that occurred at 8:51 p.m. on March 19, 2024, on state Route 99 just south of the 148th Street intersection.

An unknown vehicle was southbound on state Route 99 in the center lane. The pedestrian was crossing State Route 99 from east to west. The unknown vehicle struck the pedestrian and fled the scene.

Security footage from a nearby business captured a vehicle of interest (see screenshot below). The vehicle appears to be a dark colored sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla.

WSP detectives are asking witnesses of the collision or anyone with information on the fleeing vehicle to call Detective Dan Comnick at (360) 654-1144 or email Daniel.comnick@wsp.wa.gov. Your assistance is appreciated as detectives work to locate the suspect and suspect vehicle.
