November 20, 2024

Lewis County – On November 19, 2024, at approximately 11:32 PM, a two-vehicle collision occurred southbound Interstate 5 near milepost 70. A red Toyota Camry struck the center median, becoming disabled and blocking the left lane of travel. A white BMW SUV traveling south struck the Camry, sending the driver of the Camry into the northbound lanes where he was struck by multiple unknown vehicles. Detectives are asking anyone who was traveling through the area between 11:20 PM and 11:40 PM and witnessed the collisions, or believe they were involved, to call the WSP. They are also asking drivers with dash-cams to please review recordings of the timeframe and location for footage before, during, or after the collisions. If you have information regarding this fatal collision, please contact Detective Justin Eisfeldt at (360) 790-4615 or justin.eisfeldt@wsp.wa.gov.
