King County: At approximately 7:25pm on June 26, 2025, Washington State Patrol (WSP) communications received a 9-1-1 call from a witness stating that they heard gun shots in the area of NB SR 167 near Ellingson.
Further information from the caller indicated that a silver Toyota Prius struck the inside barrier and came across the road and ended up on the right shoulder.
Once troopers arrived it was determined that the driver and sole occupant of the Prius had multiple gunshot wounds and was unfortunately deceased.
The witness also stated that at the time they heard the gunshots there was a silver Scion or Subaru sedan on the left of the Prius and a red SUV on the right. They stated they did not see any gunfire at the time.
