
Protection Orders and Misdemeanor Crimes of Domestic Violence (In-Person) Training

Location: Tukwila Police Department, 15005 Tukwila International Blvd, Tukwila, WA 98188
**Limited to 40 participants, first come, first served**
This in-person class is designed to focus on protection orders and misdemeanor crimes of domestic violence and dig deeper into frequently asked questions. This class will be held in Western Washington at the Tukwila Police Department and is expected to last from six to eight hours. Topics may include:
- Asking the Legal Analysis Team (LAT) questions
- Comparables
- Restoration of Firearm Rights (ROR)
- Entering NICS Indices
- Frequent questions for (g)(8) and (g)(9)
- The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) as it relates to (g)(9) and the NICS Indices
- CPL Revocation
- Using the RCW Archives online
- LEEP demonstration
- New laws if anything changes
Cost:
There is no cost to attend this class. Please note that participants are responsible for any travel expenses related to attending.
