The Washington State Patrol Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit will unveil its newest Homeward Bound Truck— a program to assist in the recovery of missing children.
The new truck will display Misty Copsey’s missing poster in an attempt to increase exposure to her case. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, 1 and 6 children are recovered due to the public viewing of a photo.
Misty Copsey went missing on September 17, 1992 at 14 years old after visiting the local fair in Puyallup, Washington.
