King County, Washington: At approximately 2:50am this morning, June 2, 2026, Washington State Patrol (WSP) communications received a 9-1-1 call from a caller reporting that their vehicle was shot at SB I-5 near the convention center.
Troopers contacted the victim who stated they heard a loud sound and felt an impact as they were driving southbound. It was determined that the right rear door of their black Mercedes SUV was struck once by gunfire. The victim did not sustain any injuries.
