LAKEWOOD, Wash. – A 29-year-old Tenino man sustained serious injuries after being involved in a hit and run collision near Lakewood. Washington State Patrol (WSP) detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to help locate the fleeing driver.
The man was driving a grey Audi Q5 in the second leftmost lane of northbound Interstate 5 just south of Gravely Lake Drive around 3 p.m. on April 4, 2025.
The man lost control of the Audi, causing it to strike the concrete barrier on the left. After striking the barrier, the Audi continued back into the northbound lanes, where it was struck by an unknown semi-truck traveling in the right lane. The semi-truck continued from the scene without stopping.
Witnesses have so far been unable to provide investigators with any information that may lead to the identification of the fleeing driver.
