Grant County Fatality Collision Investigation

Grant County – On Sunday, June 9, 2019, at 4:06 am, Washington State Patrol (WSP) responded to a fatality collision on State Route 17 (SR-17) south of North Lake Road, milepost 63.  A white Ford F150 pickup traveling southbound on SR-17 drove off the roadway onto the northbound shoulder, collided with the embankment, and rolled over.  The driver and lone occupant of the pickup was ejected during the collision and came to rest in the northbound lane of SR-17.  The entire highway was also covered in debris that was ejected from the pickup.

WSP is working to identify all vehicles that drove through the collision scene.  WSP is also seeking additional witness that may have information regarding this collision.  If you know about this collision, please email or call Detective David Kiehl at (509) 765-6175 or david.kiehl@wsp.wa.gov.
