On June 15, 2019 the annual Leavenworth Drive returns to Leavenworth, Washington. This will draw in hundreds, if not thousands, of European cars and enthusiasts from all over the Pacific Northwest. The Washington State Patrol (WSP) would like to remind the attendees to have a fun and safe weekend.
In the years past, the drivers of the European cars have gathered between Monroe and Stevens Pass to travel in groups to the event. We will have extra patrols, as well as our aviation unit on duty who will be in the sky, looking for those who choose to use this time as a racing event. We encourage the drivers to take their time and plan ahead to get to the event safely.
We will continue to strive to make Washington roadway the safest in the nation. The WSP urges all motorists to pay attention to their surroundings, respect the rules of the road and please drive safe!
