WSP Seeking Witnesses To A Hit and Run Collision

June 20, 2019

King County  At approximately 6:57pm on June 19, 2019, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) received a report of a collision on SR 18 near the Raging River, milepost 26.

When troopers arrived they found a Nissan Rogue and a Tesla Model S blocking both eastbound and westbound of the highway.  It was quickly determined that an unknown semi-truck had caused the collision but did not stop.

The semi and the Nissan were traveling westbound SR 18 and the Tesla was traveling eastbound when the semi struck the Nissan and forcing it into the eastbound lane causing it to collide with the Tesla.  Thankfully there were only minor injuries.

WSP detectives are seeking any witnesses that may have information that will assist in identifying the semi that caused this collision.  Please contact Detective Ruth Medeiros at (425) 401-7788 or email at Ruth.Medeiros@wsp.wa.gov.
