King County:   At approximately 5:40pm on September 25, 2019, Washington State Patrol (WSP) communications received a 911 call from an individual stating he was shot at on I-5.

The victim advised that he entered the NB I-5 express lanes at Seneca Street and as he approached the Ship Canal Bridge a black 2 door BMW pulled up to his left and fired a round at his vehicle.  The victim continued northbound to exit to SR 522 and as he approached the exit, the suspect BMW sped around him and stopped in front of him.  The driver of the suspect BMW stepped out of his vehicle, displayed a black handgun, fired another round at the victim vehicle then jumped back into his vehicle and fled the scene exiting to SR 522.

The victim described the suspect as a male with tan skin, dark hair and a goatee.  The vehicle is believed to be a black 6 series BMW with two doors possibly similar to the picture below.  The victim was driving a 2016 Honda Accord.

Further investigation by troopers and detectives determined that there was a bullet strike to the victim’s vehicle.  A search of the area of the second shot being fired yielded two casings and one unspent round.
