WSP Spreading Holiday Cheer

December 19, 2019

For the past three decades, employees of the Washington State Patrol (WSP) in Snohomish County had the privilege of partnering with Make a Change Foundation Northwest (MAC) as they conduct their Fostering Hope Holiday Giving Campaign. The campaign focuses on providing children who have recently been placed in the Washington State Foster Care system in Snohomish County with gifts during Christmas time.

This year, 62 children were sponsored and will be provided with gifts that will give them a Christmas they’ll never forget. Each child will receive at least one thing they truly need and one thing they want; in order to help bring some holiday cheer. The employees that participated in this event did so with their own money as a way to give back to the community.

The MAC Foundation is a registered 501c3 charitable organization that has been based in Snohomish County for 30 years. The board members make sure that 100% of all proceeds go to those in need; operational costs are kept to a minimum and are covered completely by the board members own funds.
