Reminder: Graduation ceremonies for Washington State Patrol’s 112th Trooper Basic Training Class will be held March 12th and 13th. The formal graduation/commissioning ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday the 13th in the Capitol Rotunda in Olympia. (A separate Badge Pinning Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday morning at the WSP Academy in Shelton. See our previous press release for more detail).

New Troopers Travis Brawdy, Robert Dierks, Tyler Fryberger, Emily Hanger, Brianne Patoc, Bennie Taylor, and Spike Unruh all have family ties to the Washington State Patrol. Trooper Cadet Emily Hanger’s father, Detective Brent Hanger, was our last officer to die in the line of duty on August 6, 2015.
