September 22, 2020 –
King County: At approximately 4:40 AM on September 16, 2020, Washington State Patrol (WSP) communications received a 9-1-1 call from an individual stating that another vehicle had shot at them.
The victim stated they were traveling in the right lane of the onramp from Sunset Ave NE to NB I-405 in their grey Land Rover when a silver Ford Fusion pulled alongside and fired one shot which struck the driver’s side. The victim followed the Fusion north on I-405 and as they took the exit to NE 30th where two or three more shots were fired toward the victim.
The Ford Fusion has since been recovered and is in the WSP evidence garage being fingerprinted.
WSP detectives are seeking any information, witnesses and anyone that may have dash cam video that was in the area at the time of this shooting.
