Once troopers arrived they observed a BMW X3 with heavy front end damage and a Mercedes.  The two gentlemen at the scene advised that the BMW was involved in a one car collision and they stopped to see if the driver was ok.  One Good Samaritan was in the Mercedes and the other was driving a Ford F150. The driver of the BMW brandished a handgun and carjacked the F150 and fled north on I-5.
