King County: On June 3, 2022 at 12:40pm, Washington State Patrol (WSP) communications received a 9-1-1 call reporting that an individual had come off of the South Columbia St overpass and landed on SB I-5.
When troopers arrived it was determined that unfortunately the person was deceased. Detectives arrived and conducted interviews of witnesses who indicated that they observed the individual come off the overpass and strike a semi-trailer traveling southbound. Additionally a witness believed they observed a white Volkswagen strike the individual and continue south.
Detectives are seeking witnesses that were in the area of this tragic incident and have any information that may lead to identifying any of the vehicles involved. Please contact Detective Russ Haake at Russ.Haake@wsp.wa.gov.
