The Washington State Patrol is investigating a shooting which occurred at the intersection of State Route 2 (Also known as Highway 2 or Newport Highway) and Denison-Chattaroy Road on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at approximately 11:10 p.m. Washington State Patrol Detective Lewis Stevens is seeking any information and/or witnesses of the road rage driving and/or the shooting event.
