Location – State Route 24 at Park Street (Mile Post 79)
On Sunday, September 18, 2022, at approximately 12:30 A.M. an Othello Police Officer was driving west on State Route 24 at Park Street when he observed a deceased male on the westbound shoulder. Around the male were various vehicle parts indicating the male had been struck by an unknown vehicle. Surveillance video from a neighboring business shows a dark colored SUV striking the male at approximately 11:35 P.M. and continuing westbound on State Route 24.
