Detectives Seeking Witnesses To A Car / Pedestrian Injury Collison On I-5

King County: Just after 8:15pm on December 12, 2023, Washington State Patrol (WSP) communications received a 9-1-1 call advising of a car / pedestrian collision SB I-5 in the collector distributor near James St.

When troopers arrives on scene they were able to determine that a pedestrian was attempting to cross SB I-5 in the area and was struck by a Subaru that was traveling southbound. The pedestrian was transported to Harborview Medical Center where he remains in intensive care. No impairment was detected for the driver of the Subaru.
