Spokane County, WA – On April 30th, 2023 at approximately 1:04am, a passenger vehicle collided with the rear of a Washington State Patrol (WSP) vehicle on I-90 near Argonne in the westbound lanes. Two troopers and the sole occupant of the passenger vehicle were injured as a result of this collision. The driver of the vehicle that struck the WSP vehicle was arrested for suspicion of Vehicular Assault. Westbound I-90 was fully closed for several hours as the investigation was completed. Both troopers were treated and released from area hospitals. The investigation is ongoing.
