WSP needs your assistance locating witnesses

Toppenish, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is seeking the public’s help locating several witnesses of a vehicular assault collision that occurred in Toppenish on Saturday.

The two-car collision occurred at 3:06 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, on state Route 22 in the intersection of North Track Road. The driver of a white 2001 Chevrolet Silverado traveling on North Track Road allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with SR 22. The Silverado then struck a Ford Fairlane traveling eastbound on SR 22.

The driver of the Ford sustained critically injuries and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The driver of the Chevrolet was taken into custody for vehicular assault.

The WSP is seeking for any additional witnesses who may have seen or have information regarding the collision.
