WSP seeks public’s help locating driver, vehicle involved in injury hit-and-run collision

MOSES LAKE, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is seeking the public’s assistance in an ongoing injury hit-and-run investigation that occurred early Friday morning on state Route 282.

A woman was walking east on the eastbound shoulder of state Route 282 between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8 near the intersection with Road A NW/ Airport St SE, when she was struck from behind by an unknown passenger car. The driver, identified by the victim as a male, stopped at the scene briefly before they continued driving east toward Moses Lake. The female pedestrian sustained serious injuries.

The fleeing passenger car will possibly have right front-end damage, as well as damage to the right front undercarriage near the tire.
