WSP Seeking Witnesses to a Hit and Run Collision

Lind, Washington – Washington State Patrol (WSP) detectives are seeking witnesses to a vehicle versus pedestrian fatality collision that occurred October 30, 2023, on State Route 395 near Lind, Washington.
The collision occurred around 0330 hours on southbound SR 395 at mile post 81, possibly involving a white passenger car, whose driver may or may not know their vehicle(s) struck a pedestrian. Tragically, the pedestrian was killed as a result of the collision. The pedestrian’s body was discovered in the roadway by law enforcement driving in the area (next of kin has been notified).
WSP detectives are seeking any information and/or witnesses to the collision, or information about anyone who may have struck something in this area. Detectives are also seeking information regarding any prior observations of a pedestrian walking along SR395 in the area prior to the collision.
