WSP Seeking Witnesses to Road Rage Shooting

Seattle, Wash – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is seeking witnesses with information on a road rage shooting that occurred on November 11, 2023 at approximately 2pm.

The incident first started near westbound I-90 to southbound I-5. The two involved vehicles were stuck in traffic and were engaged in some sort of road rage incident. As the two vehicles traveled southbound on I-5 near Albro, an occupant in a vehicle described as a Dodge Charger or Challenger fired a gun at a maroon Honda Civic (4 door).

The occupant of the Honda Civic pulled to the shoulder and reported that he had been shot.

The Dodge was last seen fleeing the scene at over 100mph. The Dodge was described as a dark gray 2 door Charger or Challenger (2016-2023) with dark dinted windows.

WSP Detectives request assistance in locating the suspect and Dodge vehicle. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective Brody Ford at John.Ford@wsp.wa.gov.
