BREMERTON, Wash. – Washington State Patrol (WSP) detectives are seeking witnesses to a vehicle versus pedestrian fatality collision that occurred earlier this morning, on State Route 3 on the
offramp to Finn Hill.
The collision possibly occurred during the hours of darkness from the evening of Dec. 8 to the morning of Dec. 9, on northbound SR 3 (offramp to Finn Hill) at mile post 52, involving an unknown vehicle(s) and a pedestrian. Tragically the pedestrian was killed as a result of the collision. The pedestrian was discovered on the shoulder by a passerby earlier this morning.
WSP detectives are seeking any information and/or witnesses to the collision as well as information regarding any prior observations of a pedestrian walking along SR 3 in the area prior to the collision.
