King County: At approximately 12:50am on April 6, 2025, Washington State Patrol (WSP) communications received a 9-1-1 call reporting a one car collision eastbound SR 520 near Montlake Blvd.
Further calls advised of other collisions in the area and there was a pedestrian that was struck in the and was laying in the eastbound lanes.
Once troopers arrived it was determined that the driver that was involved in the initial collision exited the vehicle and jumped over the barrier into the westbound lanes where they were struck by another vehicle. This vehicle fled the scene after striking the pedestrian.
The suspect vehicle is described as a silver 2004-2009 Toyota Prius. There is no description of the driver.
WSP detectives are asking anyone that witnessed or has information pertaining to this felony to email Detective Bergeron at Judah.Bergeron@wsp.wa.gov.
UPDATE: After further investigation, detectives believe the suspect vehicle may be partially spray-painted red. Please email Detective Bergeron with information.
