Bellingham, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP), in collaboration with the Washington Traffic Safety Commission (WTSC), conducted their “No Tipsy Turkey” emphasis patrol on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
The emphasis was conducted in Bellingham, WA around Western Washington University (WWU) area. The “No Tipsy Turkey” emphasis included participation from WSP District 7 Target Zero Team (TZT), Bellingham Police Department, and Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.
The results from the “No Tipsy Turkey” emphasis are as follows:
• DUI – 8
• Speed – 48
• Seatbelt – 6
• Distracted Driving – 2
• Other Arrests – 5
• Total Contacts – 118
