WSP needs your assistance locating a person of interest involved in a Hit and Run Collision

Benton County, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is seeking the public’s help locating a person of interest in a serious injury, hit and run collision involving a black 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan and a silver 2013 BMW sedan on State Route 24 near milepost 43 in Benton County, Washington.

The incident occurred on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at approximately 5:27 PM. The BMW was traveling eastbound on SR 24 near milepost 43 where it was struck head on by the Dodge Grand Caravan. Witnesses observed two individuals flee the scene. One of the individuals was identified as Mr. Roderick. The driver of the BMW was transported to a local hospital for severe injuries sustained in the crash.

Numerous law enforcement agencies checked the area but were unable to locate Mr. Roderick after the collision.

Due to the severity of the collision, WSP is looking for the public’s help in locating Mr. Roderick.
