SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. – Washington State Patrol (WSP) detectives are seeking witnesses to a car vs motorcycle serious injury hit-and-run collision that occurred on September 22, 2024, at 3:53 p.m. on State Route 20 near Avon Allen Road (milepost 57).
The incident started when the driver of a gray Mini Cooper and the rider of a motorcycle were stopped eastbound on State Route 20 at Best Road. A physical altercation ensued between the driver and motorcycle rider.
The driver of the Mini Cooper and the motorcycle rider drove away from the Best Road scene, heading eastbound on State Route 20. At milepost 57, the driver of the Mini Cooper struck the motorcycle rider and fled the scene.
