Report Something

The Washington State Patrol is committed to keeping the public safe but we need your help. You can help keep our state safe by reporting crimes, illegal activity, or unsafe driving. Whether it’s reporting an intoxicated driver or alerting us of license fraud, you can make a difference every day.

License Fraud

The State of Washington relies on businesses and citizens to voluntarily pay their fair share of taxes to fund state services. Too often residents register their vehicle out of state in order to avoid paying sales or use tax.

Fuel Tax Evasion

Each year, Washington loses an estimated $15 million to $30 million a year from people who evade the state’s imposed motor fuel tax.

Aggressive Driving

Seeing road rage? Aggressive driving is completely preventable. It’s our goal to change reckless driving behaviors and outcomes through enforcement, education, and assistance.

Driving Under the Influence

If you see someone driving who appears to be under the influence or alcohol and/or drugs, please call 911.

Distracted Driving

In 2017, Washington State made it illegal for drivers to use any type of type of hand-held device. Distracted driving is a concern for everyone. If you see it, report it.
