King County: Last night, September 13, 2025, at approximately 11:40pm, Washington State Patrol (WSP) communications received 9-1-1 calls reporting a serious collision SB SR 509 near Meyers Way.
Once troopers arrived, they determined this was a two car, one motorcycle collision and the motorcycle rider was unfortunately deceased.
Further details revealed that a white passenger car was driving erratically and struck the motorcycle dislodging the rider. A gray vehicle subsequently struck the motorcycle. The causing vehicle fled the scene exiting to Meyers Way.
Parts from the suspect vehicle were left at the scene. It appears that the bumper of this vehicle was metallic blue painted white. The vehicle will have front and rear end damage.
WSP detectives are seeking anyone that witnessed this horrible collision or has information that would help identify the suspect vehicle. Please email Detective Gagley at Matthew.Gagley@wsp.wa.gov.
It has been determined that the suspect vehicle is a 2016-2017 Honda Accord. The picture below is the front bumper that was left at the scene. Please email Detective Gagley with information.
UPDATE #2: A second vehicle of interest has been identified in the investigation of this fatal collision. The vehicle is similar to a Dodge/Mercedes Sprinter and will have a missing driver’s side headlight. This vehicle is more likely the one that struck the motorcycle initially.
