Terms and Conditions

By accepting these terms and conditions, you certify that:

• You have a legal right to have the vehicle titled in the State of Washington and the vehicle being presented will not be titled outside of this state.
• All damaged major component parts for this vehicle have been replaced or repaired.
• You have all the proper documentation required by the Department of Licensing  (See RCW 46.12.560 – Inspection by State Patrol or other authorized inspector.)

Scheduling your New appointment

• When scheduling your appointment, the required information MUST be fully completed. If these fields are not completed with verifiable information or they are filled in using erroneous symbols, letters or numbers, the appointment will be deleted after 30 minutes of submission.

Cancelling your appointment – No Show

• If you are unable to make your appointment, please log onto your account within 24 hours to cancel your own appointment. If it is less than 24 hours, and you need to cancel, please contact your VIN lane by phone or email.
• If you fail to show up for your appointment without contacting us, all of your future appointments on our calendars will be canceled.

Multiple Appointments

• Using multiple email addresses to acquire multiple appointments will result in cancellation of all appointments.
• Scheduling multiple appointments for the same vehicle will result in a cancellation of all appointments.
• If it is suspected that you are in violation of RCW 46.70.021(License required for dealers or manufacturers – Penalties) by “buying and offering for sale, or buying and selling five or more vehicles in a twelve-month period, or in any other way engaged in dealer activity without holding a vehicle dealer license,” you and/or your firm will be referred to the Department of Licensing for criminal prosecution.

Late Arrivals

• Our VIN officers maintain a very busy schedule and we see many customers throughout the day. Showing up late may jeopardize your appointment for that day. To ensure you’ll be seen, please arrive five minutes early to your scheduled appointment.

Off-Road Vehicles (ORV) and All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV)

• The WSP does not inspect ORV’s or ATV’s for road use. Private mechanics and dealerships provide this service.

Correct Vehicle

• Please bring the vehicle you have scheduled. Showing up with a vehicle that is different from the vehicle you scheduled, without first contacting us, will result in cancellation of your appointment.

Scheduling an Appointment for Someone Else

• Appointments are not transferable. Scheduling your appointment for someone else or giving your appointment away will result in cancellation of your appointment.

You must have a WSP Request for Inspection form issued to you by a DOL agent BEFORE you schedule your appointment.
